ALASKA HOOT ETV
Bringing the amphibious 'Hoot Extreme Terrain Vehicle' to Alaska
Tell a friend about this page
Finally, what Alaska has been waiting for:  an extreme terrain vehicle that is amphibious, light, reliable, simple to work on, small enough to fit in a full-size pickup truck, and stable on land and in water.
This amphibious, 6-wheel drive vehicle climbs up steeper banks,  and over larger boulders and bigger timber than an ATV, increasing access to the backcountry.

It can be used to cross ponds and small lakes, and to make swamps,  marshes, and flooded properties more accessible.

With the  Hoot's  light weight distributed over 6 tires instead of 4, it's less likely to get stuck than a conventional ATV.

Its skid-steer turning system allows for easy maneuvering in tight, wooded areas.

It floats if it goes through the ice making travel over frozen waterways safer.
